The Frumplingtons‘Singing Creek’ by Ann Stookey was easier than we expected and took us only a few days to finish. It’s a charming picture of rural life in America. It will all have changed now, though; most likely to make way for a ten-lane freeway and a drive-thru McDoodah’s restaurant every half mile.
